Cybersecurity
I. Never disclose your confidential login information to the System
Customer Service Office (CSO) employees will never ask for your login ID, password, or authorization codes for your online account. Such situations should be reported to the CSO immediately.
II. Always check the certificate and security of the system's website
When logging into the System, make sure the connection is encrypted and the website's security certificate is valid. The padlock symbol in the browser's address bar and 'https' at the beginning of the login page URL indicate that the connection is encrypted. A valid and current certificate confirms that the site is trusted.
III. Use strong, unique passwords
The password for the System should be of adequate length and consist of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Do not use words or character sequences that are too easy to guess. Do not use the same password across multiple systems.
IV. Secure the devices you use to access the System
Your computer, tablet, and phone should be properly protected both physically and in terms of software. Regularly update the operating system. Install software with antivirus and personal firewall features, and remember to update them regularly. Do not leave your computer unattended while logged into the System. Log out of the system and close the browser after finishing your work.
V. Do not open suspicious emails and their attachments
If you have doubts about the source of an email, delete it. Messages and attachments from unknown sources pose a risk of infecting your device with malware.
VI. Protect your mobile phone used for receiving authorization codes and verify the content of received SMS messages
Carefully read authorization SMS messages and check if the type of operation matches what you are performing in the System. If you lose your phone, authorization codes will be sent to the wrong person. In such a case, immediately contact Customer Service to change the phone number for receiving authorization codes.
VII. Do not use public Wi-Fi networks for logging into the System
Using the System through an open wireless network, such as in a shopping mall, or through a password-protected network provided to guests, such as in hotels or cafes, poses a significant risk. Unlimited and anonymous access to such networks, along with a lack of or low-level security, can lead to your activity in the System being "eavesdropped."
VIII. Do not use search engines to find the login page of the System, nor access the System’s website through links in emails from unknown senders
Enter the address directly in the browser's address bar or go to the System's website from the main page of Trigon Dom Maklerski.
IX. Protect your private data, especially personal information
Revealing too much private information about yourself can lead to someone using it to impersonate you.
X. If you have any doubts regarding the security of your account, contact Customer Service
If you encounter a concerning situation while using the System, such as a suspicious page appearing in your browser, or receiving an unusual SMS or email related to the System, call or email Customer Service (e-bezpieczenstwo@trigon.pl) so we can verify the threat and protect your access to the online channel. If you suspect that the person calling you is impersonating a Customer Service representative, end the call and make your own call to the official Customer Service number listed on the website.
